Product Description
Threaded Inserts (Rivet Nuts) can be used in a wide variety of materials including sheet metal, plastics and tubular
materials. The low-profile head provides near-flush seating without special hole preparation and the splined body
provides increased torque-to-turn resistance over conventional non-splined inserts.
Threaded Inserts can be used as a rivet to assemble one or more materials and as a nut for the attachment of a
mating part with a screw. They can be installed before or after a finish is applied to the product.
They can be installed installed with inexpensive hand tools or with pneumatic tools for large jobs.

- Material: Low carbon steel to BS 970 040A04 SAE 1008
